How does BriteSmile® Works

1. A pre-shade comparison is done on your current teeth shade.
2. The BriteSmile whitening gel is carefully applied to your teeth.
3. The BriteSmile Whitening gel is then activated by BriteSmile's patented gentle blue light for 20 minutes while you relax. This process may be repeated twice.
4. A post-shade comparison is done on your new smile.

Is BriteSmile Whitening Safe?

Independent safety studies has confirmed that BriteSmile Whitening is safe from sources:

1. University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (NYU) : A pre-clinical study on the effect of BriteSmile upon hardness of tooth enamel and composite was conducted. The study concluded that BriteSmile whitening will not cause softening of enamel and composite materials tested
2. A Scanning Electron Microscopic (SEM) Study : The SEM study established that BriteSmile whitening did not cause structural or morphological changes of enamel and the BriteSmile whitening procedures are not caustic or corrosive. Fifty healthy subjects were selected to participate in the multi-center study. The clinical study showed all soft and hard tissues were within normal limits.

Why is BriteSmile Whitening Gentle?

BriteSmile whitening uses a blue light technology that is specially designed lamp that shines a gentle, blue light on your teeth as well as a lower active ingredient. BriteSmile proprietary whitening gel contains only 15% hydrogen peroxide, so there is little or no temporary tooth sensitivity. There's no laser light nor heat. Only the BriteSmile gel and BriteSmile blue light is used.
